JANE SANZEN, BOARD MEMBER

Born in NYC, Jane Sanzen has been a resident of Saratoga Springs for over 30 years and began her business career as the co-owner of Saratoga Veterinary Products, an international company specializing in the manufacturing and marketing of equine health products.  After that, she delved into the world of professional fundraising and worked as the Assistant Director of the Annual Fund at Skidmore College.  For 8 years, Jane was an Associate Broker at Select Sotheby’s International Realty and presently works for Julie & Co. Realty LLC in Saratoga.

Jane believes one must make it a priority to have a social conscience and give back to the community.  She has a history of active community involvement including the Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation, the Universal Preservation Hall, the St. Clement’s Horse Show, the Saratoga Mentoring Program, the Saratoga Performing Arts Council and is a volunteer for the Saratoga County Animal Shelter.  She is a member of the New York Thoroughbred Breeders, Inc., Board Member of the Friends of the Saratoga County Animal Shelter and Belmont Child Care Association.

Jane is a graduate of Skidmore College and is an avid Horsewoman, hiker and skier.  She has a passion for travel, thoroughbred racing, music and the cultural arts.

Jane has two grown daughters and two grandchildren.
